Softball Recap: Thornwell Saints vs. Eastside Eagles
On Wednesday, the Thornwell Saints fell victim to a tough 25-4 defeat at the hands of the Eastside Eagles. Thornwell has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Thornwell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Nelson, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Madi Landrith was another key contributor, going 1-for-3 with a triple, a run, and an RBI.
Thornwell's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Eastside, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.
