Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Reeltown walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Providence Christian Eagles on Friday as they made off with a 28-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won nine games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Reeltown's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alijah Woods, who rushed for 66 yards and one TD on only eight carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. Woods was even better on defense, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles in addition to snagging an interception. Reeltown also got a significant boost from Traylen Roberts, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 85 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Reeltown was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 235 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 163 rushing yards in seven consecutive contests.

Reeltown's defense stepped up as well, laying out Craig Pittman six times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as six different players picked up one apiece.

Reeltown pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.3 points over those games. As for Providence Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Looking ahead, Reeltown will square off against Lanett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups. Providence Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
