Brazos waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Fayetteville Lions. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Lions on Friday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Brazos now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Fayetteville, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Brazos will face off against Bellville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fayetteville, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Manor New Tech at 6:00 p.m. on September 2.
