Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Peninsula). They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Lakes Lancers on Friday. Peninsula might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by four goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Peninsula and bumps their season record up to 5-3-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-6-1 North Thurston and 2-5-1 Lakes. As for Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1.

Peninsula didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, an 8-1 victory against Capital on the 7th. As for Lakes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against North Thurston on the 7th.
