Football Recap: South Dade Piles Up the Points Against Miami

South Dade's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Miami Stingarees 45-0. That 45 point margin sets a new team best for the Buccaneers this season.

South Dade's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4. As for Miami, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

South Dade has already played their next contest, a 25-22 win against North Miami Beach on the 17th. As for Miami, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Palmetto at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Stingarees surely won't give up without a fight.
