Basketball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Lafayette Lancers and fell 56-17. The Lions lost against the Lancers in their previous head to head back in December of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 50-33 score last time.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lafayette, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Northwest has already played their next game (against Rockwood Summit), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lafayette will take on Eureka in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
