Soccer Game Preview: Peak to Peak vs. Arrupe Jesuit

The Peak to Peak Pumas will face off against the Arrupe Jesuit Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Peak to Peak's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Peak to Peak is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Kent Denver on Friday. The Pumas took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sun Devils.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Arrupe Jesuit, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They beat Englewood by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Arrupe Jesuit in their matchups with Englewood: they've now won four in a row.

Yahir Pizarro and Julian Mata scored both of Arrupe Jesuit's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Arrupe Jesuit now has a winning record of 6-5-4. As for Peak to Peak, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2-5.
