Last Tuesday, Washburn came up short against Garrison and fell 54-47. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Troopers: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather]). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Drayton/Valley-Edinburg 80-39. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bearcats as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Washburn's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather], their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
