Avon was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers by a score of 27-19. The win continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won three in a row.

It was another big night for Kalman Dolgos, who rushed for 78 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards.

Avon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Dolgos.
