Western Reserve beats Jackson-Milton for their third straight win

The Western Reserve Blue Devils had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 22-7 win over Jackson-Milton. This was payback for Western Reserve, who suffered a 22-21 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Leading Western Reserve to victory were Luke Henning and Jack Darney. Henning threw for 78 yards and two touchdowns, while Darney gained 114 total yards and a touchdown. Darney is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played.

Western Reserve's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Jackson-Milton, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.

As for Jackson-Milton, they will be playing at home against Mineral Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mineral Ridge is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
