Heritage Christian entered their tilt with Maranatha on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 71-46 margin over the Maranatha Minutemen. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Minutemen are ranked 379th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Heritage Christian is also on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season. As for Maranatha, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-16.

Heritage Christian will venture away from home to take on Village Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Village Christian is on a four-game streak of home wins, Heritage Christian a nine-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Maranatha does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
