The Wagener-Salley War Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Denmark-Olar Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wagener-Salley is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Wagener-Salley suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 60-10 loss at the hands of Hunter-Kinard-Tyler. Wagener-Salley has struggled against Hunter-Kinard-Tyler recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Denmark-Olar unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Rock Hill, falling 59-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Denmark-Olar has scored all season.
Wagener-Salley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Denmark-Olar, their defeat ended a 22-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-3.
Wagener-Salley took a serious blow against Denmark-Olar when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 65-11. Thankfully for Wagener-Salley, Aijalon Wroten (who scored 19 points along with four steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
