Soccer Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland lost against St. Pius X back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hornets lost 7-1 to the Sartans. Highland have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their goal came courtesy of R. Neal, who's now up to 25 this season.

Highland's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-6. As for St. Pius X, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Coming up, Highland will welcome Belen at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Highland will be up against Belen's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.4 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for St. Pius X, they are taking a road trip to challenge Grants at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
