Softball Recap: Plainfield Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Plainfield finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Rahway Indians, falling 19-2. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Plainfield now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Rahway, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Plainfield will be playing in front of their home fans against New Brunswick at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rahway, they will take on Piscataway at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
