After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Idalia, Bethune was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Hanover Hornets 3-2. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Bethune wouldn't go down easily and took Hanover into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-16, 25-19, 20-25, 15-10.

Bethune's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Hanover, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethune will host Miami-Yoder at 5:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Hanover, they will welcome Pikes Peak Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
