Baseball Recap: General McLane Takes a Loss

General McLane lost against McDowell back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lancers fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-2. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

General McLane saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Kiser, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

General McLane's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for McDowell, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. General McLane will face off against Corry at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for McDowell, they will take on Cathedral Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
