Flag Football Recap: Eva Cruz Leads Point Loma's Defense on Tuesday

Point Loma came into this matchup off a tough 21-point loss on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Clairemont Chieftains by a score of 18-16 on Tuesday. The Pointers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Point Loma didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Eva Cruz, Madison Dudley, and Kociencki Sam picked up one apiece.

Point Loma's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Clairemont, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.
