Soccer Recap: Father Judge Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Father Judge has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Father Judge came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Archbishop Ryan are ranked 217th).

Father Judge's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Archbishop Ryan, they pushed their record up to 8-7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Father Judge will face off against rival Cardinal O'Hara at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Archbishop Ryan is set to take on their familiar foe Archbishop Wood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
