Football Recap: Lone Peak Comes Up Short

Lone Peak faced Lehi in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Knights were outmatched by the Pioneers and fell 34-6. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lehi had a senior duo take command as Devaughn Eka rushed for 121 yards and Legend Glasker gained 75 total yards and two touchdowns. Eka's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 103 rushing yards.

Lone Peak's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4. As for Lehi, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Lone Peak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lehi, they will challenge Corner Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
