New Canaan is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Norwalk on Monday, but Norwalk came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Rams came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Bears. Those five runs were actually the fewest the Rams have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

New Canaan's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Norwalk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Canaan will take on Ludlowe at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Norwalk, they will challenge Ridgefield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
