Soccer Recap: Mcdowell's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, McDowell couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Seneca Valley Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against Seneca Valley this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-1 defeat on Tuesday.

McDowell's goal came courtesy of Colin Faulhaber, who's now up to seven this season.

McDowell's defeat ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7. As for Seneca Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-2-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Seneca Valley beat McDowell by a score of 2-1 later that day.
