Basketball Recap: Dardanelle Takes a Loss

Dardanelle and Waldron squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Dardanelle had to settle for second. They fell to the Waldron Bulldogs 62-56. The Sand Lizards were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 43-31.

Dardanelle's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Waldron, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-12.

Dardanelle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waldron, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-26 loss against Pottsville on the 22nd.
