The Escambia County Blue Devils will venture away from home to square off against the Northview Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Escambia County is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Escambia County took a blow against St. Michael Catholic, falling 49-12. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Cardinals are ranked 68th).

Escambia County's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Northview, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Escambia County was able to grind out a solid win over Northview in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, winning 26-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for Escambia County since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
