Volleyball Recap: Thurgood Marshall Academy Comes Up Short

Thurgood Marshall Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11.

Thurgood Marshall Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Washington Latin Public Charter School, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Thurgood Marshall Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe KIPP DC Legacy College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Washington Latin Public Charter School will take on rival KIPP College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
