It's playoff time, and Somerset Academy - Canyons had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the American Heritage Stallions 74-37 on Tuesday. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Somerset Academy - Canyons to victory, but perhaps none more so than Delanie Doty, who made all 7 shots she took racking up 19 points and five boards. That's the most points Doty has posted since back in December of 2023. Alana Pinnock was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to eight assists and five rebounds.

Several Stallions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Briyanna Doden, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Presser, who put up nine points.

Somerset Academy - Canyons has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for American Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-14.

Somerset Academy - Canyons has already played their next match, a 55-53 victory against King's Academy on the 6th. American Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
