Deubrook had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Deuel Cardinals on Tuesday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Dolphins yet this season.

Deubrook never let Deuel on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-16, 25-22.

Deubrook's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Deuel, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Deubrook and Deuel could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps South Dakota Rankings. The Dolphins (ranked 91st) will meet Estelline/Hendricks (ranked 16th) at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Deuel will square off against Clark/Willow Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (119 vs. 13).
