Baseball Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

Richland fell victim to Risco and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 15-0 to the Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Rebels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Richland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eric Williams, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Richland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Risco, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 10-6.

Coming up, Richland is taking a road trip to take on Cooter at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Risco, they will host Southland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
