West Union is a perfect 4-0 against Wheeler since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. West Union will square off against Wheeler at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

West Union lost 10-4 to East Union on Saturday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jon Grey Morrisson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Jaxon Herod was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Wheeler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Belmont, falling 16-5.

Wheeler saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peirce Spencer, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. The Eagles are 4-1 when Spencer posts two or more runs, but 4-13 otherwise.

Wheeler's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for West Union, their loss dropped their record down to 11-13.

West Union took their victory against Wheeler in their previous matchup back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will West Union repeat their success, or does Wheeler has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
