Volleyball Recap: Sipsey Valley Comes Up Short

Sipsey Valley lost against Fayette County back in August of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bears fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 24-26, 26-13, 16-8.

Sipsey Valley now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Fayette County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 26-5.

Sipsey Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fayette County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lamar County on the 11th.
