Baseball Recap: Elgin Comets vs. North Baltimore Tigers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northmor, Elgin was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the North Baltimore Tigers. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Cam Elswick looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Elgin is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 8-9 otherwise.
