Softball Recap: River City Raiders vs. Franklin Wildcats

River City had lost four straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 5-18 to make it five. They lost 11-1 to the Franklin Wildcats. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

River City saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Sauceda, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Micayla Arlotto, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalani Phearson, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
