Mitchell is a perfect 5-0 against Anclote since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Mitchell will take on Anclote at 7:00 p.m. Mitchell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mitchell's offense. They lost 7-0 to Sunlake on Tuesday. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Mitchell got a good showing from NATE EALY, who tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, EALY gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in February.

At the plate, Mitchell saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was LOGAN KOSLIN, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Anclote came up short against Countryside on Tuesday and fell 8-5. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Mitchell's record is now 12-5. As for Anclote, their record is now 4-12.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Mitchell has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Anclote struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Everything went Mitchell's way against Anclote in their previous matchup back in May of 2019, as Mitchell made off with a 19-0 victory. Will Mitchell repeat their success, or does Anclote has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
