Basketball Game Preview: Eastview Lightning vs. Prior Lake Lakers

The Eastview Lightning will square off against the Prior Lake Lakers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eastview is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Eastview had to suffer through a 72-36 loss at the hands of Shakopee. While losing is never fun, the Lightning can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Sabers are ranked 15th).

Meanwhile, Prior Lake hadn't done well against Lakeville North recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Prior Lake took down Lakeville North 84-67. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lakers.

Prior Lake's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Eastview, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.
