Volleyball Recap: Northside Beats Springdale for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Northside entered their tilt with Springdale on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Northside was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-20, 25-17.

Paisley Hogan paced Northside's offense, picking up 19 kills. Hogan got some help from Kamdyn Flemming and her 18 assists. Flemming was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Northside's record now sits at 13-8. As for Springdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northside will square off against rival Rogers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Springdale is set to challenge their familiar foe Har-Ber at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
