Basketball Recap: AIM Academy Skates Past Delaware Valley Friends with Ease

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only AIM Academy walked away with it. They breezed by Delaware Valley Friends to the tune of 72-38 on Tuesday. The Wolfpack's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Delaware Valley Friends' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Henry Vilardo, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. Those ten points gave Vilardo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Williams, who posted ten points and four steals.

The win was the fourth in a row for AIM Academy, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Delaware Valley Friends, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

AIM Academy will head out on the road to challenge Kimberton Waldorf at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in AIM Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. Delaware Valley Friends does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
