St. Paul has gone 8-2 against Covington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The St. Paul's Wolves will square off against the Covington Lions at 7:00 p.m. St. Paul's knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Covington likes a good challenge.

St. Paul's got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They put the hurt on Mandeville with a sharp 61-37 victory on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Covington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-61 heartbreaker at the hands of Hammond. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Lions have suffered since December 21, 2024.

St. Paul's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Covington, their loss dropped their record down to 18-11.

Things could have been worse for St. Paul's, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took an 81-65 loss to Covington in their previous meeting on January 14th. Can St. Paul's avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
