Basketball Recap: Woodward Wins Going Away Against Perry

Woodward won the last time they faced Perry and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went the Woodward Boomers' way against the Perry Maroons as the Woodward Boomers made off with a 78-52 win. The Boomers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Woodward is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27 points. As for Perry, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Woodward wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-59 victory against Jones on the 10th. As for Perry, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-36 loss against Pond Creek-Hunter on the 10th.
