West Logan Christian Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Independence Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, things could have been worse for West Logan Christian Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 74-56 loss to Victory Baptist Academy.

Meanwhile, Independence's five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They escaped with a win against Greater Beckley Christian by the margin of a single free throw, 81-80.

West Logan Christian Academy's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-6. As for Independence, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
