Everything went their way against the Terryville Kangaroos on Wednesday as they made off with a 23-1 victory. Considering the Spartans have won seven contests by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Cameron Tisi was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Emma O'Dwyer was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with eight RBI, three runs, and three doubles. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Hayden Fisher was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
