Meanwhile, Thomas County Central beat Coffee 3-1 on Tuesday. Given Thomas County Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 77th, while Coffee are ranked 353rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Thomas County Central's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Northside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Northside might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Thomas County Central in their previous matchup on March 7th. Can Northside avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
