Football Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 28-7 to the Connersville Spartans.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Connersville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will head out to square off against Jennings County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Connersville, they will venture away from home to take on Rushville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.5 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
