Volleyball Recap: American Heritage Takes a Loss + How To Watch

American Heritage was the 3-2 winner over Dreyfoos School of the Arts when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Stallions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 19-25, 25-19.

Ella Maguire paced American Heritage's offense, picking up ten kills. Maguire got some help from Rachel Miller and her 13 assists. Finally, Alexa Servalis and Maria Asprino kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.

American Heritage has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Coming up, American Heritage will head out on the road to take on Royal Palm Beach at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, they will be playing at home against Spanish River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
