Baseball Game Preview: Chapin Eagles vs. Dutch Fork Silver Foxes

The Chapin Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Chapin has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Chapin needed a bit of extra time to put away Dutch Fork. They won by a run and slipped past the Silver Foxes 5-4.

Griff Harper tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over 4.1 innings pitched.

At the plate, Caden Reeves was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Charlie Todd, who scored a run while going 3-for-5.

Dutch Fork's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Chapin, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
