Basketball Recap: Killian Hill Christian Comes Up Short

Killian Hill Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were beaten by the HALO Wolfpack 76-43. The Cougars were down 48-27 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Trenton Grissom was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 38 points and 12 boards for HALO. That makes it four consecutive games in which Grissom has scored at least a third of HALO's points. Another player making a difference was Kenneth Haynes, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 19 boards.

Killian Hill Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for HALO, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

After both having extra time off, Killian Hill Christian and Fideles Christian will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for HALO, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Trinity Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. HALO is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.2 points per game this season.
