Mya Turman commands the offense for Hawks win

The Hay Springs Hawks entered their tilt with the Edgemont Moguls with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Hay Springs came out on top against Edgemont by a score of 52-42 on Friday. 52 seems to be a good number for Hay Springs as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Hay Springs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mya Turman, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Turman has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Gabby Twarling was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.

Edgemont lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Hadley Hollenbeck, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Tavian Urban, who scored 16 points along with five steals.

Hay Springs is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Edgemont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Hemingford will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 260th in Nebraska, while Edgemont is ranked 89th in South Dakota).
