Basketball Recap: Lancaster Christian Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lancaster Christian Academy can now relate to. They lost 53-29 to South Haven Christian on Thursday. The loss leaves the Knights without a win on the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Haven Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lily Weaver, who posted ten points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. That's the most steals Weaver has posted since back in December of 2024. Josie Gillilan was another key player, going 5-for-11 on her way to 17 points and six boards.

Lancaster Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for South Haven Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Lancaster Christian Academy nor South Haven Christian have any future games scheduled.
