Waipahu faced Wai'anae in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Marauders strolled past the Seariders with points to spare, taking the game 29-13. The victory was nothing new for the Marauders as they're now sitting on four straight.

Waipahu's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Wai'anae, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waipahu will host Nanakuli at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Marauders will be up against the Golden Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.17 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Wai'anae, they will square off against 'Aiea at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
