Athens Drive is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They walked away with a 50-39 win over Riverside-Durham. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won eight in a row.

Athens Drive found their leader in freshman Amani Bridges, who went 9-for-17 en route to 20 points along with six boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Sofia Sheppard, who posted eight points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Cary suffered their closest defeat since January 24th on Wednesday. They fell just short of Apex by a score of 46-44. Imps fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Cougars since Wednesday.
