Volleyball Recap: Valley View Takes a Loss

Valley View lost against Howe two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley View actually scored more points across those five sets (100-93), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 10-25, 16-25, 25-15, 25-20, 17-15.

Valley View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Howe, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Valley View will take on Tom Bean at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Howe, they will head out on the road to square off against Tioga at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
