Basketball Game Preview: Cocoa Beach Minutemen vs. Satellite Scorpions

Cocoa Beach and Satellite are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. Both will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played.

Cocoa Beach is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Rockledge on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Cocoa Beach took a blow against Rockledge, falling 51-19. The Minutemen were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-8.

Meanwhile, Satellite hadn't done well against Eau Gallie recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Satellite came out on top against Eau Gallie by a score of 42-33.

Cocoa Beach's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Satellite, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9.
